Meet Mary L Stemkowski, LCSW

I believe that everyone deserves a space to feel seen, supported, and safe—a space that honors your full humanity. Whether you're carrying the weight of trauma, navigating a life transition, or simply craving a place to breathe and be, you are worthy of care, healing, and belonging.

I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are ready to begin—or return to—their therapy journey. Many of the people I support are seeking a safe space to process trauma, unlearn harmful patterns, and reconnect with themselves. You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin—and that’s okay. Therapy doesn’t require you to have it all figured out. We’ll go at your pace.

My approach is grounded in compassion, cultural responsiveness, and a deep respect for the wisdom of the body. I integrate somatic work, breathwork, art, and nature-based practices to support emotional regulation, self-compassion, and lasting growth. Together, we’ll slow down, listen deeply, and gently move toward the healing you deserve.

So much of our world rewards survival—but I believe we are meant for more. In this space, we can disrupt what no longer serves you, unlearn messages that kept you stuck, and explore what it means to live with more ease, connection, and authenticity.

Healing begins with safety—in your body, your relationships, and your story. Whether you're navigating grief, anxiety, burnout, or a desire to better understand yourself, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. You're welcome here—exactly as you are.
